Panel Bios

Marialexia Margariti is EMCC International Vice-president of Quality. Marialexia is an occupational psychologist, psychotherapist, corporate coach & supervisor focuses supporting individuals and teams to reach their full potential and to transition through major life shifts. Prior to establishing her private practice, Marialexia has been a corporate executive in major multinational exposed to different business disciplines at local and international level. She is partnering with Atom Wave as senior associate on leadership development & internal coaching certification programs, sharing with Atom Wave the same Solution Focus philosophy and the belief that each one of us the inner resources to define our own path. Marialexia is passionate about maximising developmental opportunities, reaching self potential and working with diverse cultures and contexts.

Dr Julie Haddock-Millar is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Manager, Consultant and Research. She teaches on a range of postgraduate programmes including the DBA and MBA programmes at the International University of Monaco and Middlesex University Business School (UK). Her research publications are primarily in the areas of mentoring and professional development. She recently co-edited the Sage Handbook of Mentoring and is currently commissioned by Routledge for a new book: Mentoring and Coaching for Work-life Balance. She is also EMCC International WorkGroup Lead for ISMCP and recently consulted with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to prepare the organisation for EMCC ISMCP accreditation.

Dr Beatriz Valderrama has a PhD in Organisational Psychology and Human Resources Management. She is a pioneer in Corporate Mentoring in Spain, leading a large project in a Spanish bank at the beginning of the crisis, with great impact on bottom line. She is the author of the book ‘Desarrollo de Competencias de Mentoring y Coaching’, which is a reference in Corporate Mentoring programmes. She is also author and academic director of the ‘Expert in Executive Mentoring’ programme in UNIR (Universidad Internacional de La Rioja), currently the only one accredited by EMCC in Spain with an EQA. She has extensive experience in promoting organisational and leadership development programmes, including mentoring and executive coaching. She is the author of other books on Coaching, Team Coaching, Motivation, Creativity, and Talent Management. She is a professor at several Universities and Business Schools.

Razwana Wahid is Vice-president of mentoring for the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) in Barcelona. Professionally, Razwana is a relational intelligence trainer working with managers in businesses. Using practical tools, techniques and methods, they learn influence and persuasion skills to motivate their team, give them an identity to buy into and a mission to stand behind. At PWN Razwana leads the Mentoring Team in recruiting, matching and monitoring the mentor and mentee pairs throughout their journey.
